Bertha Geraldine Priestley, sadly died after a long time of illness on 16th November 1994 aged 64.
Bertha had many occupations in her life time, she is mainly remembered for the tea/coffee, sandwich and a good game of cards around the table. Bertha was born in Wales family travelled and she finally settled in Manchester.
Bertha had 4 sisters Nora(Shuckie), Jackie, Ann and Mary also 3 brothers Norman, Boyo and Towser.
Bertha left 8 children behind Mel, Jane, Hildegard, Erwin, Annelisa, Paul and David also adopted a son called Peter.
A grandmother to 16, also when she died a great grandmother 2 times and she loved it, family meant a great deal to her.
i see your pictures and i just just feel you close to me ... when ever i am writing on this page i feel a warm breeze near me and i just know it is you..some people might think i am crazy but out there i believe you do not ever leave this earth untill it is your time has been done ,,and i belive your time wasnt over ... As you know i now have a beautiful daughter molly and she has brought so much joy and laughter to all of us and i know you would love her, shes so cheeky and is her grandads little partner in crime. We tell her about you and she looks at your picture and points at it and Say's Nana, as she wont call mum grandma, she just refuse's. And thank you for being around as you are always felt in are hearts.
